In Loving Memory of Stephanie Thigpen
Madison, FL — Stephanie Thigpen, wife of Southern Gospel promoter Bryant Thigpen passed away Sunday, June 19, 2016 following a lengthy battle with brain cancer. She was 28 years old.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 21, 2016, from 5 – 8 p.m., at Beggs Funeral Home in MadisoN, Florida. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 22, 2016, at the First Baptist Church of Madison, Flrodia, at 11 a.m., with graveside services following at Cherry Lake First Baptist Church cemetery.
Many remember Bryant from his piano-playing tenure with Naomi & The Segos and more recently, his concert promotion efforts in Northern Florida, including the annual Jellystone Park Jam at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park in Madison, Florida. He also traveled with The Reflectsons for seven years as bass guitarist.
Stephanie sang with her family group, The Yeomans Family, from 2001 until leaving the road in 2007.
Bryant and Stephanie were married on August 10, 2013, in Madison, Florida, and worked together with the youth ministry at a local church while singing with the gospel music ministry, LifeSong.

Stephanie Rochelle Thigpen, age 28, beloved wife and mother, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 19, 2016 at Madison County Memorial Hospital following a lengthy battle with brain cancer.

Stephanie was born on October 30, 1987 to Leonard (deceased) and Donna Yeomans in Valdosta, Georgia, and was a Georgia resident until marrying Bryant in 2013. Stephanie sang with her family group, The Yeomans Family, from 2001 until leaving the road in 2007.
Bryant and Stephanie were married on August 10, 2013, in Madison and worked together in youth ministry at a local church and was part of a gospel music ministry, LifeSong. She was an avid Florida State football fan and loved attending FSU games. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Lake Park, Georgia.
She was preceded in death by her father, Leonard Yeomans; paternal grandparents, William Riley Yeomans and Ethel Mae Yeomans; maternal grandparents, JC Cercy and Avis Cercy Pearson; and niece, Ashlyn Yeomans.
Thigpen is survived by her husband, Bryant; two children, Joseph “Tripp” and Brynlee; her mother, Donna Yeomans; five sisters: Leslie Jones, Carrie (Robbie) Bishop, Sheri Craven, Amy (Donny) Bartow and Alison (Tommy) Thigpen; one brother, Justin Yeomans; and many nieces, nephews, friends and family.
Beggs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Jellystone Park Jam Lineup Announced
On Thursday night, gospel music fans will enjoy the sounds of the Stephen Jones Band, Amber Lee Abbott, Trinity, LifeSong, Harper Brothers, Calvary Trio and David & Rusty.
Friday night, don't miss the Walkers, Simple Faith Quartet, LifeSong, Shireys, Drummond Family and the Groves Family. One of the highlights of the weekend will take place on Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m., with a performance by Psalm 101, Kevin Lane and others.
Saturday night's lineup will feature the Celebration Singers, Great Day, Logan Smith, Gibbs Family, Southern Joy, Mercy Mountain Boys, Sounds of Joy and LifeSong.
Chapel services will be held on Friday, Saturday and Sunday morning at 10:30 a.m. Robbie Harrington will be the guest speaker for the Friday and Saturday chapel services. The Sunday morning chapel service will feature the ministry of David & Rusty, gospel ventriloquist team.
